Sync2 update with FTP issues fixed

This important update only fixes problems related to 4Team Sharing Service and FTP Custom profiles. So it’s not necessary to install this update if a customer doesn’t use these profile types.
Bugs Fixed:

In some cases synchronization updates would not be synchronized correctly with 4Team Sharing Service the connection timeout occurs during synchronization process

If the Internet connection lost or unavailable when Sync2 was already running, in some cases all further attempts to start synchronization of Custom FTP or 4Team Sharing Service profile would fail unless Sync2 was restarted

Major Update of Sync2 now with Google Contacts synchronization

Changes:

Synchronization with Google Contacts is now supported. You can now synchronize your Outlook Contacts with Google Contacts. Just select the "Google Contacts" synchronization type when creating the synchronization profile, enter your Google Login information and select the folder you wish to be in sync with Google Contacts.

Bugs Fixed

Synchronization would not work with some custom FTP servers that do not support MLST command

The Profile could not be created if the Windows user name contains some specific symbols (non-ASCII)

In synchronization filters only one first category was used in the filtering rules

Appointments with the label "Important" were not excluded from synchronization, if such exclusion was set up in synchronization filters

The 4Team FTP Service password could not be changed from Sync2 Profile Settings

Application would crash when trying to remove the 4Team FTP Service profile with an expired account

A Custom FTP profile could not be created if the provided FTP location contains folders with restricted access

A Custom FTP profile could not be created if after FTP login location was changed automatically by FTP server

The Application would crash in some cases during a custom FTP connection test

When data conflict occurred, the item would always be replaced by the Google Calendar item version, regardless of the option selected in the “Data Conflicts" tab in Profile Settings

All day events synchronized from Outlook appeared in Google Calendar without the "All day event" status

In some cases recurrent events synchronized from Google Calendar to Outlook would appear as non-recurrent events, and refer to an incorrect date in Outlook Calendar folder

A Mail type folder would be created instead of calendar folder during synchronization of Google Calendar, if the previously synchronized calendar folder was deleted from Outlook

No right-click menu was available on appointments in Outlook created during synchronization with Google Calendar

In the detailed conflict resolution form all fields for comparison were shown as "Other" fields

The Application would crash when trying to view the list of computers during the synchronization process

New Attachments2Zip with Auto-Encryption was released

Changes:

Auto-Encryption With Predefined Password. Now you can enable auto-encryption of ZIP archive in options, and your attachments will not only be zipped, but also encrypted automatically before they are sent.

Attachment2Zip: Automatically zip and encrypt (protect) sensitive e-mail attachments when sending Outlook messages.

New Duplicate Killer for Outlook with advanced features has arrived

Changes:

New Report Of Found Duplicates. The updated report with the list of found duplicates now provides more options to manage your duplicate items, and simplifies the process of resolving.

Updated Duplicate Merging Dialog. The dialog functionality has been dramatically improved, allowing you to quickly review and merge the fields you want.

New propierties to search added to Calendar and Contacts Wizard.

Updates:

Microsoft Exchange folders are now supported. Now you can combine Personal and Public calendars into one group calendar folder. You can also create a group calendar folder in Public Folders

By default user/resource name is now suggested without the "Calendar" text

The default Calendar folder can now be used as a group folder

Fixes:

Application would become unresponsive in some cases after creating a group calendar folder on Windows Vista / Outlook 2007 systems

Calendar entries without any assigned label would appear with “[ ]” symbols in front of the subject in group calendar folder

Empty Personal Folders root folder would show in the Management Panel if within there are no calendar type folders

The ShareO, ShareCalendar, ShareContacts version update is now available

This update mainly addresses the issue of "on top" windows and Outlook "on top" problem, as well as some technical support cases that occurred during the last 1.5 months.
Issues Fixed:

Outlook window would appear on top of other opened windows in some cases when receiving updates during the send/receive process

Notification messages about arrived updates, progress bars and other forms would appear below Outlook window in some cases and would not be seen unless all windows are minimize

Updating e-mails would stay in Inbox and would not be processed automatically in Outlook 2002

When a shared folder was deleted and moved to the Deleted Items folder, new shared updates would arrive to that deleted folder

On non-English versions, the dialog that provides selection of an Outlook folder from the Wizard, or from the Management Panel options was always shown in the English language

Notification for deletion of the arrived items would pop up even if there were no such items in the folder already

A new version of Sync2DB Developer Package was also released. It includes version 1.00.0039 of Sync2DB Administration Tools, SQL scripts and samples for MySQL and remote subscriptions, as well as the updated Sync2DB Developer Guide. If you have installed a previous version of Sync2DB Developer Package (Sync2DB Administration Tools), you must uninstall it first.

Changes:

German and French language support added. The product was fully tested with German and French editions of Windows and Outlook.

Additional explanation texts added. Detailed explanation texts now show the reason why synchronization failed in cases when PST files are locked, read-only, or when the location where PST file is synchronized is unavailable.

Bugs Fixed:

In some cases during synchronization items would not be detected as identical and duplicates would be created

In some cases folders that are checked for synchronization and/or the synchronization settings would reset when the application starts

In some cases synchronization would not start according to the scheduled time on Windows Vista

Outlook folder trees in the main application dialog would sometimes appear closed

Folders with "\" or "/" symbols in names would not synchronize

When changing a PST pair, "Last synchronization" date would show the date of last synchronization of a PST pair selected previously

The contact icon was shown instead of the distribution list icon in the "Found Changes" dialog for distribution lists

In some cases the folder path would not show correctly in the "Found Changes" dialog

Other minor bugs fixed

The ShareO, ShareCalendar, ShareContacts version update is now available

Issues Fixed:

Private all-day event, when shared as blank, would be shown as not all-day event for other users

"Free/Busy Sharing" tab in "Options" was not available in ShareCalendar edition

Trial/Activation

Re-activation will be required when upgrading from any version older than 3.00.

The trial will be extended for another 14 days if any version older than 3.00 was installed.
